Gregory E. Young Advisor

Greg is a skilled family office executive, fiduciary, and professional, with over 30 years of experience in the family office sector and fiduciary services, and the legal profession. He is Managing Director for The Ropart Group, a private family office based in Greenwich, CT supporting the significant and active investment and other undertakings for multiple generations of a single family. Greg is also founding principal of Palm Beach, FL-based Greyfield Advisers, a consulting firm focused on serving the varied and substantial needs of ultra-high net worth individuals and their family offices.

Greg was previously CEO of a fully integrated single family office based in Palm Beach, and a fiduciary for multiple trusts benefiting the family members – responsible for all strategic and operational needs of the enterprise, trust administration, and the investment and management of extensive trust assets. And, Greg practiced for 25 years between Palm Beach and Washington, DC as a partner with two prominent law firms, Squire Patton Boggs, and Edwards Wildman Palmer – spending considerable time in firm leadership and on enterprise management. Chief components of Greg’s transactional practice were the representation of ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices as well as sovereign wealth funds, private funds, and other institutional investors in real estate, along the way developing a high proficiency on matters pertaining to public policy, entity governance, business transactions, private equity, and taxation and related planning.

Greg holds a JD and a BS/BA in Finance and European History, each from the University of Kentucky. He is an active investor and serves several private (for profit) companies in board and advisory positions. Greg is also active in philanthropic pursuits, having served on several non-profit boards, including multi-year service as Board Chair for the Gulf Stream School, a 75+ year-old private, independent school based in Palm Beach County.
